Tony Platt Named Chief Creative Officer of LendingUSA

Marketing Professional Brings Over 30 Years of Experience to Marketplace Lender.

LendingUSA, a leading marketplace lender and provider of consumer point of need financing, has announced today that it has appointed Tony Platt as its new Chief Creative Officer. Platt will take a lead role in formulating and coordinating marketing efforts for LendingUSA.

An experienced marketing executive who has developed campaigns for brands such as Geico, Nestle and American Express, Platt served as Chief Creative Officer for Meredith Xcelerated Marketing from 2010-2015, where he oversaw content development, customer relationship management, and custom publishing for all of Meredith’s clients. Prior to Meredith, he served in leadership roles at Grey West, The Martin Agency, and Young & Rubicam.

At LendingUSA, he will work closely with Testa, as well as founder and CEO Camilo Concha, to grow both the company’s direct-to-consumer loan business and its network of more than 7,000 merchant partners, which provides fast financing to clients right at the point of need through the LendingUSA merchant portal.
